Skill Stop Animation

It's a "Slot Machine" or is it?

In order to make that determination, one has to understand the operation and function of a typical Slot Machine. Conventional Slot Machines exhibit the following characteristics:

Conventional slots machines are gambling devices with a hit ratio and payout percentage based purely on programming, unaffected by player input or influence, usually controlled by a random number generator (RNG) that predetermines the outcome of the game upon activation or at some point during play of the game.

.

Slots have a preset rate of return (hold percentage) to the game operator or casino operator that limits and restricts the amount players can win playing the games that is unaffected by the amount of win or losses, past patterns or schemes and malfunctions void all payout awards.

.

The only way to consistently beat a properly operating slot machine is with a heavy object!

It's a "Skill Stop Reel Game" not a Slot!

In order to make that determination, one has to understand the operation and function of a typical Skill Stop Reel Game. A legal Skill Stop Reel Game exhibits the following characteristics:

Every player, of every game, has the opportunity to win the highest possible award through the application of skill,  without influence, limits or controls of any type.

Lack of player input produces a voided game and/or credit back and no outcome, win or lose!

Every game has a single payline, outcome is based purely on player selection and skill.

Says who? Can you prove that?

We do, the management, engineers, programmers and designers of Double D Games! We also know that our word might not be quite good enough to convince you that what we are saying is true. Listed below are the people and agency's to contact to prove and verify our claims:

New Jersey Casino Control Commission: We believe they have the expertise to identify a Slot Machine and our games are exempted from their jurisdiction. We have been investigated and have permanent licensing pending with the NJCCC.

New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement: We believe the enforcement division of the NJCCC also has the expertise to identify a Slot Machine and our games are exempted. We are licensed by the NJCCC to possess and store unapproved games and slots. (FYI, the possession of an empty, inoperative slot cabinet is a chargeable offense in NJ for possession of a gambling device unless properly licensed by the NJCCC.)

New Jersey Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission: This division of the New Jersey Attorney Generals Office oversees and regulates all amusement, arcade, redemption and charity games permitted in the State of New Jersey. Legal games are issued a Certificate of Permissibility by the Commission to sell and use the games in NJ.

Nick Farley & Associates Certified Testing Laboratory: A nationally known, certified testing lab that specializes in testing gaming, amusement and redemption devices to ensure compliance with jurisdictional regulations and integrity of the devices. Our games are certified games of skill and our lab reports are available on this website.

One final note before you leave this page: Double D Games were designed and constructed to be used as amusement and redemption devices. Double D Games does not manufacture gambling devices. While they may have the appearance of a conventional slot machine and employ the use of specific or generic components used in conventional gaming devices, they remain bona-fide games of skill, lab certified and exempted by New Jersey State gaming regulators.
